In a 2 ft by 3 ft area you can average 12 to 16 eggs a day, in a week you could easily incubate 50 quail and still still have a surplus of eggs to eat. This Quail cage system assumes that the quail farmer will put up to 50 three week old quail in one of the grow out cages every week. After 3 weeks the quail will have hit full size and will be able to be processed for meat, or the females can be used for replacing egg layers in the layer cage.
