Stackable Quail Egg Layer Cage
This quail egg layer cage is built with inch by half inch 16 gauge wire panels for walls and ceilings and 14 gauge inch by half inch floor. The front panel with the door has a 1.5 inch opening for the eggs to pass through into a 3 inch deep egg catch. the floors are meant to be installed at a slant, 8 inches from the ceiling in the rear of the cage and 10 inches from the ceiling in the front of the cage. This is the cage i use for my jumbo coturnix quail. I run 20 birds in this cage. 4 breeding quintets will fit, or 20 hens if non fertile eggs are the goal.
